Leave it to the experts
Features and explainers written by subject matter experts from universities around the world.
At 360info, we believe that accurate, evidence-based information should be the foundation for informed discussions, policy making, and positive societal change around the world.
That’s why we’re bridging the gap between the world’s brightest minds and the global public.
360info is a business-to-business wire agency service with a focus on the supply and dissemination and publication of evidence-driven content to other publishers' sites. Instead of just another website, we supply all websites. Helping the world be better informed. We deliver high-value text, data, images, video and audio content at no charge to news publishers and broadcasters, NGOs, think tanks, civil society and universities worldwide. All available under Creative Commons.
Working as a global newsroom bringing in the different perspectives from around the world, 360info is a resource to newsrooms everywhere and also supplies ideas that can be used or developed, plus access to research experts.
Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore through its Alta Scuola in Media, Comunicazione e Spettacolo
has been the first 360info's European hub.
Universities have long had a social licence to act as a trusted source of information. The public recognises the academic expert as the 'voice' with the most credibility, and the journalist with the least. But the voice of academic research within public debate needs to be both readily accessible and distinctively rigorous and authoritative. It needs to be able to define the terms and tone of debate rather than be reduced to news grabs or snippets of interest, slave to the 24-hour news cycle. Universities need to better demonstrate their commitment to solving the world’s biggest issues and offering clear, practical ways forward.
Rebuilding reader confidence in reliable, credible, dependable and factually accurate information requires a complete overhaul of the content creation process. Current processes remain based on historical, unchallenged and often flawed practices, ethics and content-creation methodology. It’s time for a new approach which 360info is pioneering.
The reports of the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore's academics for the 360info project concerning different topics such as economy, education, environment, health, politics, technology, science and society.
